The AA project was founded by Jan Hubicka(CZ) and has developed amongst other things a DOOM clone with Ascii art-library support under the name of DUMB and an Ascii art random dot stereogram generator.
The AsciiArtEnsemble consists of Walter van der Cruijsen, Luka Frelih and Vuk Cosic and is working on various ideas for a net based moving Ascii. Their current projects range from "Deep Ascii" (an ascii version of Deep Throat) to "MTV stream" (meaning an ascii version of any broadcast signal).
